GRAPHIC TRANSLATION

Our third design assignment was to choose a random, small household object to use to complete an in-depth visual study. This could have been anything from a paper clip to a light bulb. We started by just creating the most basic-level drawing of our object using only black and white (no grey) with the pen tool, and then we worked to make it more and more realistic. From there, we were to duplicate our design and see how much of its form we could take away while still communicating what the object was. Lastly, we experimented with drawing as a graphic symbol/pictogram. Created and designed by Livv Welch with Adobe Illustrator.
