TYPOGRAPHIC VOICE

For this project, we learned how to create an emotional response using only typographic design to convey tone of voice. We were meant to tell a story through our design. We were tasked with exploring different tones of voice with the same quote using only one neutral serif or sans serif typeface and no more than three colors. We were to use variables such as typeface, weight, size, leading, kerning, color, composition, framing, angle, position, proximity, graphic form, and texture to accomplish this. We were given tones of voice by our professor, which were chanting, shouting, and whispering.
